History: David grew up in Edinbrough. Minerva McGonagall is his older sister. There is an age difference of 20 years, as their parents decided to gave birth to a son to reproduce the relation to Merlin. He is related to Merlin but has no special powers, apart from great intelligence and wisdom.

After he finished Hogwarts, he traveled around the world to learn about different cultures and wizard-kind. He has great knowledge about people and their habits.

After he returned, he started Auror training and after he finished this, he received a job at the Minister. He soon managed to reach the position as Senior Head of Auror office, the position under Rufus Scrimgeor.

He met his wife at the Ministry, where she lead a demonstration against half-breed oppression. They married and a few years after that, they got their son Evan. But Evelyn was killed a few days after she gave birth by Fenrir Greyback who had been ordered by Voldemort to do so. Evan was taken away by Greyback, who wanted to make a werewolf of the baby and raise it lik a true werewolf, but it was Remus Lupin who managed to safe Evan from Fenrir.

Since his wife’s death, he has become really protective about his family (his son Evan and sister Minerva), and he is a is very withdrawn and inwardly, not easily letting someone into his private life.

In the summer of 1996, David was sent out for a mission to spy on the Death Eaters, but was caught. He was killed by Voldemort, who wants to stop the Merlin blood-line.
